As we all know that during formatting a computer or on the time of installing Windows after the file copying is completed then windows require 39 minutes time.

Here is the trick to install windows in 10 min after it so taking no time lets do it on.

Step 1: After the copy part is over and system is rebooted as we all know in general formatting procedure the below image will appear.

Step 2: Now as this image appears you have to press "Shift + F10 ". This will open the command prompt.

Step 3: Now type "taskmgr" in it. This will open the task manager.

Step 4: After the task manager opens goto processes and find "setup.exe" process and right click on it then set the priority to highest (As shown in image below).

Step 5: Now just watch the set it will take around 9 minutes and 2 minutes for tolerance(depends system to system)....

Speed up your pendrives file copying speed in Windows

You might have noticed slow copy speeds with some pen drives. Here is a tweak which help in increasing the speed or giving a speed boost to your pendrive.
By enabling this tweak, the write caching option in windows will be enabled.

• Plug in your USB Drive.
• Then Open My Computer> right-click on your USB Drive >click Properties.
• Select your USB drive Under Hardwares and choose Properties.
• You will see a dialog box saying ” Optimize for quick removal”.This option is selected by default.
• Select “Optimize for Performance”option.
• Now, remove USB drive and plug it again.
• Copy some files from the drive to your system or vice-versa. You can notice the speed increase.

After enabling this option in windows, make sure you use the Safely remove hardware option in windows each time you remove the removable drive from windows otherwise you might encounter errors with the pendrive. Though the tweak might not give exceptional speed boost to your usb drive but it will come in handy while copying large files.

Get/Add the RUN command in Windows Vista/7 Start Menu

Don’t see the run command in Vista’s/7 start menu like in Xp? Don’t worry.You can add the run command to vista’s start menu very easily.Here is what you have to do.

1. Choose properties by right clicking on the start menu.
2. Select the customize button under start tab.
3. Scroll down and tick the run command option.
4. Select apply and then press OK.
5. If you have any doubt check the screen shot below.

Select the start button now and you will see the run command.

Super Fast Shut down in windows under 2 seconds!!

Here is trick to shutdown windows like never you have done before.This trick can be used to do an emergency shut down.You will be surprised to see windows getting shut down under 2 seconds!!!. At first make sure that you don’t have any unsaved works. So here is how you do it.

1. Call up the task manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc(for vista users.Xp users too can do this.)
2. Pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc will directly call the task manager in vista.
3. Now from the menu bar select the shutdown option.
4. Hold Ctrl and press Turn off.

You will see windows shutting down under the blink of an eye.

We don’t recommend shutting down windows this way. Use it only in case of an emergency.

Enter name of the website in the address bar and press CTRL + ENTER to auto-complete http://www. and the .com/ parts automatically. For example, type google in the address bar and press CTRL+ENTER, the browser will automatically make it http://www.google.com/.
Like wise SHIFT+ENTER will auto-complete the .net domains and CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER auto-completes the .org
If you feel that the mouse more comfortable and than the keyboard shotcuts, then i recommend you to, first try these shortcuts for a day or two to familiarize them. Once you do it you wont go back. Firefox  is on the way and the beta version has been released for the testing purpose. The new version  of the most popular browser is stunning in looks and performance. Here are some tweaks and ways which can be used to Speed Up Firefox

#1) Performance tweaks for firefox  to increase the browsing speed

Type “about:config” (without quotes) in the address bar and proceed by pressing the I’ll be careful, I promise button. Now in the filter field type in the following values one by one and set its value accordingly. For eg, type network.http.pipelining, you will see the corresponding value appearing below, double clicking it will set the value to true or false and if its some thing which has a value to be set, a popup window appears where you could enter the value for the field.

If any of the above value doesn’t appear, then follow the steps below.
For a setting with true or false value. For eg, if you don’t see the value being displayed below while typing content.notify.backoffcount on the filter field just right click on an empty space and select Boolean from New. Type content.notify.ontimer in the box and set its value to true.

The same is applicable if you are setting a integer value, except that you need to select Integer from the right click menu.

#2) Speeding Up Firefox  by cleaning up the SQL Data base

Firefox uses a my sql database where various values and entries are being stored during its usage. With time this get accumulated like unwanted registry entries left behind after an uninstallation in windows. So its necessary to clean the firefox  database once in a while.

• For this, Press Ctrl + Shift + J in your firefox browser. You would see the error console window being displayed.
• Click inside the code field and paste the following code and press on Evaluate.

How to Disable Autorun in Pen Drive

The USB Flash drive Autorun function is a great bless for many users. But still there are people who find this feature annoying or useless as it might not be comfortable for them. So if you want to disable the Autorun in pen drive, then here are the instructions to do it easily in Windows.

1. Type in ” gpedit.msc ” in Run to open Group Policy Editor.
2. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System.

3. In the right side, double click on ” Turn off Autoplay “.
4. Check the enabled option and change the ” Turn off Autoplay on ” option to ” All drives “.
5. Apply the changes to disable autorun of pen drive.
That’s it! The Autorun feature will be now disabled.

Delete Autorun.inf Virus Without Any Software

There are Numerous softwares available that exclusively deal with Autorun.inf and other Autorun viruses, for example ‘USB Disk Security‘. But Inspite of installing such kind of software, Sometimes you might accidentally open your USB disk Drive (Pen-drive) without looking at the warning by your Antivirus Software and thus Affecting your System with Autorun.inf virus. # 5. Repeat the above Steps for other drives. To navigate to other Drives, First type “cls” to clear your ‘command prompt’ then type “d:” . Repeat the Steps for all the Drives including your USB Disk Drive.
